Hello Somerset Oaks Families, Students, Faculty & Staff,

With over two decades in education as a teacher and administrator, the offer from Somerset Academy District Leadership to lead the Oaks campus was one of the best opportunities I consider, and I do look forward to doing everything I can in the years to come to impact the lives of children entrusted to our tutelage.

The reputation and trust Oaks campus has earned from the community is because of the hard work and dedication of a team, and I must acknowledge all my predecessors, teachers and staff who have contributed to the success of the school over the years.

It is evident that Somerset Oaks has a sense of community and a constant drive for excellence. My goal is to ensure this foundation becomes even stronger by enhancing our instructional practices and enrichment activities (co-curricular) to provide more opportunities to all students to increase student engagement and success. We aim to build a well-rounded individual, who embraces a desire for lifelong learning in a safe and supportive environment, while challenging their creativity and passion.

I want to ensure that our fine arts programs are strong and visible in the community and our scholars are provided the opportunities to participate in local events within the community that will enhance their understanding and passion for what they love.

We all agree that preparing our children to face the challenges of the 21st century is not an easy task, we have a collective responsibility in nurturing and transforming them into leaders to meet the ever-changing global scenario (political & economical). I cherish this opportunity and am excited for the future of the Somerset Oaks to be one of the best educational choices that meet the academic, social and emotional needs of all our students.
