Brooks Academy Oaks has a New Name!

Dear Somerset Texas Families:

When Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering received its charter in 2006, we wanted to honor the Brooks City Base location where our first school was located, thus our school name “Brooks”. Over the past fifteen years we have grown and expanded to serve children far beyond the Brooks location. Our plans for the future include even more expansion. We are excited to announce that we are rebranding under our board’s network name, Somerset Academy.

As such, our schools will be renamed as follows:

• Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering (BASE) will be Somerset Academy Brooks
• Brooks Collegiate Academy (BCA) will be Somerset Academy Collegiate
• Brooks Academy Lone Star (BLSA) will be Somerset Academy Lone Star
• Brooks Academy Oaks will be Somerset Academy Oaks.

Our school names and logos will change. School colors, mascots and, most importantly, our school culture remain the same. Our dedication to providing amazing educational services to our families will remain, as well.

Rebranding as part of the Somerset Network, which has over 25 years of history providing excellence in education, allows us to grow within Texas and while showing our partnership with our sister schools.

No new uniforms are required, the Brooks logos will be gradually phased out.
